No they aren't I played this with gamepay, all the deaths I had was off screen shots and projectiles that I physically couldn't see because I don't have 2 more fingers and joints in them. That's neat but it all falls out the window when you think about they wanted to design the game for consoles and gamepads and built the game to screw you over when you play with those. What the COULD design was how the game plays within that system They didn't design the PS5 hardware, but they wanted to design (or had to based on company agreements or something else) a game on that console. Those problems completely shift when you shift to mouse and keyboard, hence trivializing the game as suddenly the limitations of the previous platform that the entire game was based around. It just requires a different set of problem solving. You say that designing around these limitations is bad game design but that not true. The first time you get dealt a massive killing blow that should end you, the game actually leaves you with a sliver of health you don't "deserve". Super generous aim assist (never aimed down sight my entire play though) ![]() Mobility is highly rewarded with very generous iframe while dashing and grappling and the enemies suck and hitting a moving target. ![]() So a couple of things the game did given it's "limitations"Ĭan't move the camera around bc of joysticks? Creatures off screen are less aggressive. That's a neat way to say you know very little about game design. ![]()
